NEWS RELEASE – Montréal, Québec. August 4th, 2021. E-Power Resources Inc. (“E-Power” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that it will be starting its 2021 exploration program at the Tetepisca graphite property, located in the North Shore region of Quebec, approximately 220 kilometres north of Baie-Comeau.
E-Powers Tetepisca property is located in the Lac Gueret – Lac Tetepisca Graphite District which hosts the Lac Geuret Deposit with total Measured and Indicated Resources of 65.7 Million Tonnes (“Mt”) at an average grade of 17.17% carbon as Graphite (”Cg”) (source: NI 43-101 TECHNICAL REPORT FEASIBILITY STUDY UPDATE of the LAC GEURET GRAPHITE PROJECT, Mason Graphite Inc, 2018) and the Lac Geuret Extension deposit which contains Indicated Resources of 1.76 Mt at 17% Cg and Inferred Resources of 1.53 Mt at 16.4% Cg (source: NI 43-101 TECHNICAL REPORT MINERAL RESOURCE ESTIMATE on the LAC GUÉRET SOUTH GRAPHITE PROPERTY, Berkwood Resources Ltd., 2019).
The Company will be completing 3 phases of exploration at the Tetepisca property. Phase 1, starting immediately will include geological mapping and ground based electromagnetic surveys over selected parts of the property. Phase 2 exploration, slated to begin in early September, will consist of a high resolution airborne magnetic-electromagnetic survey covering approximately 65% of the property to be flown in 2 blocks. Phase 3 exploration will consist of 2,000 metres of diamond drilling. The drill program plan will be based on the results of Phase 1 and Phase 2 exploration. The objective of the exploration program is the discovery of graphite mineralization with demonstrateable geological and geophysical continity to support resource delineation in a 2022 drill campaign.
